At Key Events and Weddings, we’re passionate about creating unforgettable experiences. Our recent collaboration with Marriott Bonvoy at the Westin Bayshore was a testament to our ability to transform spaces into stunning event venues.

A Showcase of Marriott’s Event Spaces

Marriott Bonvoy selected the Westin Bayshore to host a style shoot aimed at showcasing the beauty and versatility of their event spaces. Our team was tasked with creating six distinct style sets within two different spaces at the hotel.

A Diverse Range of Styles

The style shoot included a mix of Chinese and Western/Fusion wedding themes. One of the most exciting sets was the Indian wedding Mandap, a beautiful and luxurious focal point that we hope to decorate more often in the future. While we may not have extensive experience with Indian weddings, our team is equipped with the skills and creativity to design stunning arrangements that cater to diverse cultural preferences.

A Design Pivot and Triumph

Just one day before the photoshoot, we faced a significant challenge: the set was unexpectedly changed from all silk floral arrangements to mostly fresh ones. This required us to source six arrangements within a tight 12-hour timeframe. Thanks to the incredible team at Arbutus Florists, we were able to secure the necessary fresh flowers and create stunning arrangements that met our client’s last-minute request.

Our wedding planner, Lucy Chan, also demonstrated her expertise by purchasing materials early in the morning and building a fresh arch on-site. This adaptability and quick thinking ensured that everything was perfect for the shoot.

The style shoot was a resounding success, showcasing the beauty and versatility of Marriott Bonvoy’s event spaces. Our team’s creativity, adaptability, and attention to detail played a crucial role in creating stunning and memorable sets.
